If you're looking to move up to your first slicing scissor (or just replace an existing one), then the Jaguar SMART is an excellent choice. There's no coloured coating or gimmicky handle, just solid scissor design and superbly sharp blades.
It's part of Jaguar's White Line which means the blades have a flat cutting edge angle, giving them good sharpness. They're also honed and hollow ground to make them suitable for slice cutting.
The steel they're made from is high quality and ice-tempered at -80°C to make them hard and therefore able to hold an edge for longer. The blades are held together by Jaguar's VARIO screw which maintains an excellent cutting action and is easily adjustable using a coin.
Offset handles with a wide bumper provide a comfortable hand position and there are removable black finger-ring inserts and a removable finger rest so you can customise your scissor to your preference.
